Drummer in Band 'BASH!'
Meet Angus, a former Level 3 Diploma Music Performance and Production student.
Angus enjoyed his time at college, as he explained: “College definitely highlighted all the music I wasn’t listening to and really opened my eyes to what I was missing out on. This really helped me develop as a musician".
Since finishing college, Angus is now a professional drummer in band BASH, often performing as part of the London music scene.
He recently came back to Barnfield College to speak to our music students about how he got to where he is today. Angus gave our students an insight into a typical day in the life of a professional drummer. He also gave our students advice on the key characteristics they need to succeed in the music industry, as he explained: "To be successful, you need a good working knowledge of your instrument, and to be reliable and prepared for all situations".
