Our Level 3 Creative Media Production students spent an incredible day at Kingdom Creative.
Kingdom Creative are an award-winning film production agency based in Hitchin, Kingdom Creative are an award-winning film production agency based in Hitchin, specialising in the automotive, Motorsports, sports, and travel sectors.
On the visit, our students got a real taste of what life is like inside a busy film production company - and it was an unforgettable, hands-on experience from start to finish.
Throughout the day, they took part in a series of engaging workshops, including:
• An introduction to production and what makes a great producer
• Camera operation – mastering shot composition and visual storytelling
• Filming one-shot scenes inspired by Adolescence
• Lighting demonstrations
• An editing session exploring how raw footage becomes a finished story
Kingdom Creative shared their thoughts on the visit:
“We really enjoyed spending the day with Barnfield College’s Media students and passing on some of the skills and experience we’ve learned over the years. They were full of enthusiasm and creativity, and it’s clear the future of filmmaking is in good hands!”
