Our Business students recently attended an Open Day at Greystone Solicitors, hosted by Bilal Farooq, Ryan Fazal, Jamila Salam and Nimra Butt.
Bilal gave an insightful description of his journey at Greystone Solicitors as well as an overview of the business itself, while Ryan, Jamila and Nimra also explained their roles within the company. They each provided a detailed explanation of what they do and how they got there.
The students were also given the opportunity to take part in a beneficial interview activity, in which they were given three commonly asked interview questions to discuss before hearing feedback. Subsequently, the students then took part in an exercise to develop their own cover letters based on feedback from Bilal, Ryan, Jamila and Nimra.
Overall, it was an extremely beneficial day, in which the students were able to develop valuable skills to help them gain a future career in the Business Industry.
