The Salon at Barnfield College was full of energy as students and staff came together for a 10‑hour Pamper‑thon in support of Keech Hospice, a local charity providing specialist care for adults and children with life‑limiting illnesses across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes. The event brought the community into the salon for a full day of treatments, all delivered by talented students from the College’s Hair and Beauty courses.

The Pamper‑thon offered students the chance to use their professional skills for a meaningful cause, while highlighting the College’s commitment to supporting organisations that make a real difference to local people. Every appointment booked contributed directly to the fundraising total, helping to support the vital work Keech Hospice carries out across the region.

Thanks to the hard work of students and the generosity of clients, the event raised £378.96 in a single day. The salon was fully booked from start to finish, creating a lively and positive atmosphere throughout.

Events like this play an important role in strengthening community connections, giving students valuable real‑world experience and helping to raise funds for charities that support local families.

Barnfield College extends a huge thank you to everyone involved for making the day such a success.
