At Barnfield College, we celebrate diversity. Cultural Diversity Day on Wednesday 21 May is a day dedicated to celebrating the many cultural identities that make up our college community.
The world day shines light on the importance of cultural diversity and how it enriches society, both culturally and as a driver of global development.
Students can join us to celebrate the richness of the world’s cultures and deepen their understanding of the values of cultural diversity through exploring, honouring, and sharing the rich cultural identities that make up our college.
Here’s what’s in store:
Students can help us to celebrate by wearing clothing that represents their culture and heritage on Cultural Diversity Day. Tag us in your pictures using #BCCulturalDiversityDay
Food is a big part of celebrating culture, and we’re bringing different world food to the canteen on Cultural Diversity Day offering delicious dishes for students to taste and enjoy. Students should make sure to stop by and grab some food from the canteens.
