  • Entry Criteria

    3 GCSEs (A*-D/9-3), including science and either English or maths, or completion of a suitable equivalent qualification.

  • What will I study?

    • Chemistry and our earth - investigate chemical reactivity and bonding
    • Energy and our universe - know the components of the Solar System, the way the Universe is changing and the methods we use to explore space
    • The living body - develop a knowledge of the structure and function of individual body systems
    • Investigating a crime scene - understand the role of crime scene investigation and forensic science and their relevance to the criminal justice system
    • Science in medicine - investigate the scientific principles of treating illnesses and health conditions
    • Investigating human behaviour - explore different ways to understand human behaviour
    • Scientific skills - process, present and analyse data, and draw evidence-based conclusions
