- Entry Criteria
To study this course you will require:
- Diploma Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Level 3 Award in Electrical Installations: 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
- GCSE English & Maths grade 4 or the ability to demonstrate you are working at/towards a Level 2 in English and maths. Your working level will be evaluated via an initial assessment.
- What will I study?
This course is for those with electrical installation knowledge who wish to move into self-certification and the ability to assess others.
The combination of the two allows for an electrician to join a self-regulating body.
You will study: -Understand requirements for inspection and testing -Understand safety management and procedures when undertaking inspection and testing -Understand the requirements for the inspection of electrical installation -Understand the requirements for testing electrical installation -Perform inspection and testing

Work within the industry as a JIB grade approved electrician.
