Health & Social Care is about providing physical, emotional and social support to help people live their lives. Careers in the sector need skilled people who have empathy, compassion and a strong desire to help others.
It’s an incredibly rewarding line of work to be a part of, you could help people in their own homes, in residential homes or in a number of other places such as day centres or supported housing.
The Government has set out the need for the health and social care sectors to develop new integrated care models to promote health and wellbeing and provide care. In the future, this could mean your career crossing both sectors in new and exciting roles.

During the closure, you can still contact us for general enquiries on weekdays from Friday 12 December until Friday 19 December. Our lines will be open between 9am – 4pm during this period, with an earlier finish of 12pm on Friday 19 December.
