We’ve identified some of the key benefits to employers when it comes to starting apprenticeship training.

1. Make the most of Government funding

As an employer, you can get funding from the government to help pay for apprenticeship training.

If you employ fewer than 50 employees, the government will pay 100% of the apprenticeship training costs.

If you are an employer who doesn’t pay the apprenticeship levy, you pay just 5% towards the cost of training and assessing an apprentice.

If you are an employer who does pay the apprenticeship levy, you can manage your apprenticeship funds, spend it on training and assessing apprentices and the government will apply a 10% top up to your funds.
