Premium spray gun manufacturer, Walcom, delivers Industry Masterclass to Motor Vehicle students.

Walcom, the global Spray gun manufacturer, are known as innovators in the spray gun industry. From their base in Italy, they have continued to evolve the design of their products through a process of refinement which introduces new materials to their processes, keeping them ahead of the competition. Our Motor Vehicle students had the opportunity to hear from the Managing Director Craig Wilde and Technical Engineer Craig Bourke, to gain an insight into the company and their premium spraying equipment.

Wilde and Bourke showed students Walcom’s spray equipment, which was awarded the New Technology Award at the Bodyshop Awards 2022, including their latest product release the TD3 Pro Thermodry.

Sharing his expertise Craig said: “I don’t believe there’s a best gun, I believe it depends on who is using it and what project it’s been used for.” Walcom then provided students with a demonstration on how to use the equipment and how to perform the modern paint techniques needed to get the most out of the state-of-the-art spray guns.

CourseTutor Sachit Shah said “The Walcom Industry Masterclass was superb, not only did they come and show our learners the latest technology in the industry, but they also shared the practical techniques used in the industry including how to set the spray guns up in order to get the best out of them.”
