Meet Ginan Odeh, who recently completed the Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma at Barnfield College.
Due to her keen interest in the Health and Social Care sector, particularly Midwifery, Ginan decided that the Health and Social Care course was the ideal route to get her there.
The course allowed Ginan to learn about a variety of new topics, with anatomy, physiology and learning disabilities being among her most enjoyable topics on the course. Ginan also developed her essay writing and communication skills.
With support from her tutors, alongside a lot of hard work, Ginan has now completed her course and secured a place at the University of Hertfordshire to study Midwifery. Ginan is excited about the prospect of a career in Midwifery and the opportunity to empower and educate expectant mothers.
Ginan explained that upon finishing her course she’s gained not only knowledge of the subject, but confidence too! Her advice to anyone thinking of studying Health and Social Care is:
‘You will get there, but don’t be scared to ask for help’.
