Our Creative Media students recently attended Clearhead’s Creative Taster Day at their office in Luton, where they were provided with the opportunity to learn new skills relevant to video production. The day focussed on film production, editing and mastering the art of storytelling.
The students were asked to create their own social media campaign, with the theme being Luton. With support from the Clearhead team, the students were provided with all the equipment and advice they needed to plan, produce and edit their own piece.
The students found the experience extremely beneficial.
Harvey Sullivan, Creative Media student, said: ‘I found the experience very eye-opening; it allowed me to see what it was like to work with professionals and what they do behind the scenes. I enjoyed the activities, and it was fun to see how the different groups had different styles of showing off Luton. If I get the chance to work with them again, I would as they’re a great group of people’.
