  • Entry Criteria

    4 GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English, maths and science.

    Alternatively a Level 2 Diploma in a related field would be accepted along with English, maths and science at 4 or above.

    • Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care – understand the structure and organisation of the human body
    • Human Lifespan Development - understand the stages of development, as well as the factors that affect these stages
    • Health psychology – understand how psychology contributes to the management of contemporary issues in health
    • Psychological perspectives – understand how psychological perspectives are applied in health and social care settings
    • Sociological perspectives – understand how social inequalities, demographic change, and patterns and trends affect health and social care delivery

    Successful completion will set you up to progress to degree level study at university on a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Health or BSc in Education and Child Psychology. You’ll be heading towards a wide variety of potential career paths across both Psychology and Health and Social Care including:
