This course provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in media to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to

more specialised study.

  • Entry Criteria

    Grade 4 and above in GCSE English and maths and a minimum of two additional GCSEs at grade 4 or above or a strong Merit profile on a relevant Level 2 qualification.

  • What will I study?

    In year 1 learners will produce a music video, a live radio show, a genre changing trailer, an interactive magazine, a game show as well as gain research, planning skills and evaluative skills.

    In year 2 learners will produce a short film and a live TV show. They will specialise in their chosen area of media and create a professional showreel and progression material.

  • Future Prospects

    The majority of students completing the UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology will progress to the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology. Some may progress to the Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Foundation Studies - Art & Design and some may progress into a range of entry-level roles in the media sector.
