Prepare yourself for working with children from birth to five years of age, with knowledge of children up to seven, helping with their development and growth. This course prepares you for continuing your studies here at College or moving further afield and into an apprenticeship or full-time work with children in a range of job roles. It is suitable for anyone who wants to work with young children, and will cover all aspects of working with children from birth to the age of five years.
- Entry Criteria
3 GCSEs (A*-D/9-3), including English language, or successful completion of a Level 1 programme with GCSE English language equivalent. You will need to complete a DBS check.

Progress to the Level 3 Health and Social Care or CACHE Early Years Educator (English language and maths required), which will give you a licence to work within the sector. Future career prospects involve working in early years settings such as nurseries or preschools.
