Barnfield College Students got an exclusive insight into the travel and aviation sector by visitors from TUI and Luton Airport.
Bappi Ali and Kirsty Stonnell from TUI Group presented an informative and proactive workshop to students on how they approach and deliver their apprenticeship schemes.
Bappi, from TUI’s Careers department, said: “We wanted to show students why they should choose to pursue an apprenticeship, and ultimately a career with TUI. It was a great opportunity to show what we do as a company, the different areas we operate in, and the incredible fashion in which TUI looks after it’s apprentice’s and staff.”
TUI Group offer a huge range of apprenticeship schemes, designed to prepare young people for working in the industry, and are very proud of the training and development they offer.
TUI offer a range of apprenticeship schemes from HR Consultants to Data Scientists, and they are always on the lookout for opportunities to develop young talent.
Following this, students enjoyed a talk with Ramohan Bhogal from London Luton Airport. He spoke about the opportunities for young people at the UK’s fifth largest airport, along with knowledge and expertise in how to make finding their first job an easier process. Ramohan gave students a look into life at London Luton Airport and its inner workings, and they had the opportunity to learn more about working at such an international, commercial airport.
