Gain the first aid skills you require to enter into the children’s workforce. Developing the knowledge and skills necessary to administer paediatric first aid.
Modules may include:
• The role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider
• Assessing an emergency situation
• First aid for an infant and a child who are unresponsive
• First aid for an infant and a child who are choking
• First aid to an infant and a child with external bleeding
• First aid to an infant or a child who is suffering from shock
• First aid to an infant or a child with bites, stings and minor injuries
• Managing paediatric illness, injuries
