NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid

Gain the first aid skills you require to enter into the children’s workforce. Developing the knowledge and skills necessary to administer paediatric first aid.

Modules may include:

• The role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider

• Assessing an emergency situation

• First aid for an infant and a child who are unresponsive

• First aid for an infant and a child who are choking

• First aid to an infant and a child with external bleeding

• First aid to an infant or a child who is suffering from shock

• First aid to an infant or a child with bites, stings and minor injuries

• Managing paediatric illness, injuries

On successful completion, learners will be qualified to administer first aid in the workplace or domestic settings. You will gain the skills required for employment or career progression in the health, education and care sector.
