What is enrolment?
Enrolment is the process that confirms your place at Barnfield College. During enrolment you will confirm what course you will be taking and at what level.
Can I enrol on campus?
Yes. Simply drop into any of our campuses where you will be able to complete your enrolment process, meet with course tutors, see the facilities and speak with our support teams.
Is there a deadline for completing the enrolment form?
No, there’s not a strict deadline. Term may have started but there’s still time to join us. We’d encourage you to enrol as soon as possible. If you do miss the start of term, you can still secure a place at college, simply drop in to see us as soon as possible and our friendly support team will get you up to speed as soon as possible.
How many courses can you enrol on?
You can enrol on one course only.
Can I change my course?
Yes, whether you’ve enrolled already or are still considering your options it’s not too late. Drop in to see us on campus to discuss your options.
Is it too late to apply?
No, it’s not too late. Drop into campus for advice and guidance on your options. You will have the opportunity to complete your enrolment on the same day.
When will I receive my timetable?
Once you complete your enrolment on campus you will be given a physical copy of your timetable. Alternatively, your timetable can be found on the student platform ProPortal. Click here for more information.
When will I receive my ID card?
You will be able to collect your ID card on campus on your first day of college
I have not received any enrolment information, what do I do?
Double check your Spam and Junk email folders, if you still haven’t received anything please contact our admissions team on email@example.com or 01582 569555 to confirm your contact details.
What to do if you did not achieve the grades you wanted?
If things didn’t go as you’d expected on GCSE results day then please don’t worry, we have a wide variety of courses and will be able to support you to find the right course to match your future ambitions. Drop into campus and speak to our admissions team for advice and guidance, you’ll be on track to achieving big things before you know it.

Can I drop in for advice and guidance?
Yes, absolutely. Please come and see us Monday – Friday, 9am – 4.30pm to talk to our tutors to find out more about our courses.
How do I enrol?
If you’re interested in one of our leisure courses then you can enrol online via paypal, simply find the course you’re interested in, add the session to your basket and enrol. If you’re looking at a formal qualification then you can drop in to see us on campus to find out more about your course and how to secure your place, alternatively apply online and we’ll be in touch. If you’ve applied already then keep an eye on your email as we’ll be in touch with an invitation to enrol.
Is there financial support available at college?
Yes, our Learner Support Fund is available to help with costs associated to coming to college such as; travel, lunches, kit and equipment and course fees. Click here to find out more.
