4 GCSEs (A*-C/9-4), or equivalent. All students are required to have achieved GCSE English language and maths at grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths prior to starting the course. You will need to complete a DBS check.

This qualification sets the standards that all early years practitioners must meet to ensure that they are able to support and promote children's early education.
