Grade 4 and above in GCSE English and maths and two additional GCSEs at grade 4 preferably in Science and PE. Assessment activities on day of interview.

It is expected that you will progress onto the full extended diploma in sports science after completing this year 90-credit qualification. If you are 19 or above upon completion of this course, you may choose to progress on to a relevant Level 4 qualification such as an HNC or Foundation degree dependent on your academic capability. Learners of any age could also seek an apprenticeship or employment in the sports sector.
The Sport and Exercise Science Diploma is aimed at people with a strong interest in sport from a scientific and practical perspective. The programme develops the skills and knowledge required for work within a range of sports science occupations and is a favourite course for students that wish to study sport science and therapy related courses at University.
