This course is designed for those who wish to continue their training in a Plumbing & heating career but not currently working in the Plumbing industry. Along with your Plumbing studies and depending on GCSE grades on entry, the study programme will include GCSE or Functional Skills in English and maths, and give opportunity to gain 20 hours work experience in Plumbing with a local employer. You will learn:
Health and safety in building services engineering
Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering
Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing
Common plumbing processes
Cold water systems
Domestic hot water systems
Central heating systems
Drainage systems
Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering
