Making a late college application

If you’re still unsure about what to do after GCSEs, you didn’t want to go to college but have now changed your mind or didn’t get the grades you needed and want a little guidance – don’t panic! Barnfield College can help point you in the right direction! There are still plenty of options at this late stage to allow you to continue your education.

We accept late applications

Barnfield College continues to accept applications for courses with places still available right until the end of September, so you still have time to get on the right track. There are plenty of ways for you to do this but the quickest and simplest way is to see us directly at one of our dedicated advice days.

Advice Days for you

Our aim is to make securing your place with us as quick and simple as possible. That’s why we host Advice and Enrolment days, which are open to all. These are your one-stop shop to help ease the confusion and worry you might be facing about your future. You can drop in, get advice from our expert teams, make your application, enrol and start your course in September. It really is that simple!

Careers advice and guidance

Our expert Careers and Guidance team can provide information on over 300 accredited vocational courses, and will try to place you on an appropriate course, whatever your results. As long as you can show you are keen to study and want to succeed, this can often be your passport to a place on a course that matches your interests and aspirations.

Ways to apply

Simply make an application online, call the Student Services Team on 01582 569 569 and they will be able to help you make your application, or alternatively you can fill in our online form and we will contact you.

Remember, it’s never too late

Whatever situation you find yourself in, the important thing is not to worry. You can be whatever you want to be, and we will help you get there. It’s never too late to go to college and we look forward to helping you achieve your potential. Best of luck!
