Barnfield College’s Nursery, which is situated on the grounds of the New Bedford Road campus, has been rated Outstanding second time in a row, after its Ofsted inspection last month.
The report graded the quality and standards of the early year’s provision as outstanding across all areas.
The summary of key findings for parents includes:
- The nursery has excellent communication with parents
- Teaching is of an extremely high standard
- Behaviour is well managed and children have a secure relationship with staff
- Managers have created a culture which strives for continuous improvement
Alison Russell, Nursery Manager, said: ‘We are delighted with the result. The team has worked extremely hard to maintain the standards and quality at the Nursery, to ensure the provision remains outstanding.
We have amazing support from our parents and we owe it to them and their children to provide excellent early years childcare and education, something that we continually strive to do and improve.
Tim Eyton-Jones, Barnfield College Principal, added: ‘We are on a truly transformational journey and this is one step closer towards reclaiming the excellence the College once held, and will no doubt attain again.’
