Barnfield College was delighted to host its annual Higher Education Graduation Ceremony. Held at the New Bedford Road campus, more than 50 students formally graduated in front of family, friends and staff of the College. Access to Higher Education students were also honored as part of the evening.
Budding musician and Barnfield College student, James Bloom, gave two fantastic musical performances, whilst Churchill’s provided a mouth-watering selection of canapés and drinks. The evening closed with the timeless ‘caps in the air’ shot, capturing the self-accomplishment and joy of each graduate. Local printer, Bartham Press, sponsored the inspirational event, sharing the achievements of each student, and the College.
Dave Malachi, Head of Higher Education, hosted the ceremony and congratulated all on their success. Dave said: “It was with bursting pride that I had the opportunity to be a part of the celebration of our students’ successes. The calibre of our students and Higher Education teaching staff is truly exceptional and makes undergraduate study at Barnfield College a really worthwhile alternative to university.”
Principal, Tim Eyton-Jones imparted students with inspiring words of encouragement and advice for the future: ‘Continue learning. Continue seeking. Continue to challenge yourself. Most of all, continue moving. You have the skills and attributes to achieve great things so never stop trying.’
