With Covid-19 restrictions currently continuing in Luton, we wanted to reassure you that if they are still in place in September we’ll be able to provide you with everything you need to join the College, start your course on time, and achieve your qualifications as planned.

The qualifications you will achieve at College will be so important to your future – more than ever while the country recovers from the pandemic – and we have made all the preparations necessary for you to continue with your course under all potential circumstances, either on-campus, on-line, or through a mixture of both.

As well as learning on-campus, you will have access to our brand-new College On-Demand services, bringing you a high-quality digital learning experience covering all aspects of your course. Your tutors will work closely with you to help you use these on-demand services and stay on track with your studies, the system is really easy to use and has an app available on all mobile devices.

The wider elements of College life will also be available on-campus and online – so nothing will be off limits whatever the Covid-19 circumstances. You will be able to access all student support services and talk to personal advisers in confidence about any matters you need help with.

You will also be able to undertake work experience with some highly-rated employers in the workplace and online. And if you feel at any point you need some extra help with your studies, our StudyPlus team will be available to meet with you in person or online.

We will keep a close eye on the Covid-19 situation in your area and stay in touch with you about the arrangements in place for you to enrol with the College and start your course. We can adjust the mix of on-campus and on-line learning at any point, and to any extent, to reflect Covid-19 restrictions.

We understand this is a difficult time and that you may be feeling anxious about what opportunities lay ahead. Things will get better and there remains much to look forward to for young people with good qualifications and experiences. Don’t lose sight of your long-term ambitions and remain fully focused on gaining the qualifications and skills you need to fulfil your own plans for the future.

Help and support is available to you throughout the summer, so if you have any questions please do get in touch. We’re available via social media, webchat, phone, email, on-campus – contact us in whatever way suits you best.

Take care, we look forward to seeing you in September.
