Barnfield College congratulates all students across the country who have achieved their A Level and BTEC results. The College’s own vocational equivalent A Level courses have seen record results this year with more student successfully gaining university or employment options.
Principal, Tim-Eyton Jones said “A Level results day is an exciting and important event in many young people’s lives. For those who may have received unexpected results or haven’t met the conditions of their offer and need to adjust their plans, don’t worry, there are plenty of options available.
“We are running a dedicated Clearing Advice Day to provide young people with information and guidance on the options available to them, including courses at the College, which could save students £8,000 compared to going to university.”
The College offers a range of university-level courses: Higher National Certificates, Higher National Diplomas and Foundation degrees in areas including Art, Fashion, Health and Social Care, Media, Music and Public Services. Most of these courses enjoy substantial employer links with the majority of students studying whilst working in the industry. “Earning whilst you learn is a preferable route for an increasing number of students today.” commented Mr Eyton-Jones.
Students who need to re-adjust their plans can call the College Clearing hotline on 01582 569 523 to discuss alternative options with a member of the Higher Education team, or they can visit the New Bedford Road campus and talk directly to an advisor.
