We have a range of student support services to help you through your studies.Guidance and Learner Support staff offer you information, advice and guidance on personal or career issues at each campus. Help is also available for dealing with any administrative and practical difficulties.
These services are found at each campus - please ask at the main entrance for directions. The Learner Support Fund may provide assistance with specific financial difficulties related to your course - collect an application form from the friendly Learner Support staff

Barnfield College aims to provide all learners with the guidance and learning support needed to enable them to 'achieve their personal, educational and employment goals.' The tutorial process is a key element in this support programme.
All full time and substantive part time learners will be allocated a personal tutor at the beginning of the academic year. The tutorial process will consist of at least three one-to-one interviews per year and a programme of group tutorial.
In the case of learners on short courses or evening study there is no formal tutorial programme, however the personal tutor is expected to provide the information, advice and review that will enable these learners to access college guidance, IT and support services where appropriate.
