What will it cost to come to Barnfield?

UK and EU students entering full-time Higher Education and studying for Foundation Degrees, HNDs and degrees no longer have to pay a yearly entry fee while they are studying at university. Fees will only become payable once you have left university and earn £15,000 or more.

We do everything we can to keep costs down. In 2008/9, for example, the fee charged for all our full-time Foundation Degrees at Barnfield College is just £1,255 per year. We believe this represents incredible value for money.

Student loans (and in some cases, non-repayable grants) are available to support full-time students, and those in work may attract sponsorship from employers. Part-time students are eligible for means-tested grants towards their fees and maintenance costs.

An increasing number of students are choosing to live at home and study locally to keep costs down. Please contact us if you need further information about funding and finances, or visit http://www.directgov.gov.uk.
