Learn!

While we want all our students to have fun and socialise, we're here to learn, so we've also made sure we have the best learning resources around, giving students easy access to print, audio, video and information-based technology material. There are learning resource areas for study and plenty of support back-up. Each campus has a common room and leisure facilities.

Students studying Foundation Degrees at Barnfield College are full members of both the College and of the University of Bedfordshire, so you'll get the best of both worlds. This means that you are able to use the library, computing and other facilities at both the College and the University to support your work.

In addition to the social facilities at the college, such as catering and recreational facilities, you are also able to use the University sports facilities, bars, refectories, etc, and join some of the many Students' Union clubs that are organised each year. Luton itself is a major town with plenty to offer including great pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinema, shops, sports facilities and rail, road and air transport links.

We want you to enjoy your time with us, and if you choose to continue to study locally after your two year Foundation Degree, you will be able to progress straight on to the final year of a relevant Honours Degree with the University of Bedfordshire.
