A team of students and staff from Barnfield College Luton are building an access path for the children at Warden Hill Primary School - free of charge.
The project will only cost the school the materials involved.
Pete Birkett, Chief Executive of Barnfield College, said: "Barnfield is committed to supporting the community and this is simply one example of how we intend to increase our help over the coming years.
"Warden Hill School needed a proper access path for its adventure playground. And helping out the school means that our students get valuable on-site experience and a true understanding of how it feels to help people and the community.
"We are always pleased to help with community projects whenever we can and we have a series of others planned in the future".
Under the eagle eye of tutors Danny Standard and Carlton Hyde, the 11 brickwork students designed the path, cut the trench, put in the edging, laid the base and stepping stone slabs and put in a hopscotch rubber tyre area.
