Senior staff from 12 FE colleges across Eastern England attended a high-powered WorldSkills forum in Luton, hosted by Barnfield College.
Barnfield College has been appointed the eastern region champion for the WorldSkills Championships being held in London in 2011.
The forum considered the strategy for the championships and the eastern region's role in the lead-up and during the competition
The colleges attending were South East Essex, West Anglia, City College Norwich, New College Stamford, Huntingdon Regional, Cambridge Regional, Otley, Epping Forest, Writtle, Dunstable, West Herts and North Herts.The forum was also attended by Patrick Gormley, UK Skills' regional partnerships manager.
