Training and Development

At Barnfield we are committed to the continuing professional and personal development of all our staff to support the College Vision and to excel in everything we do.

Three staff development days scheduled over the year provide extensive opportunities for staff to maintain and develop skills and expertise. At the end of the academic year there is a staff conference held at one of our campuses.

Teaching staff are required to evidence a minimum of 30 hours Continuous Professional Development per academic year. Staff, new to teaching, are required to obtain a teaching qualification, provided by our award winning in-house teacher training team and the University of Bedfordshire.
