Start your degree this January

If you’re considering starting your degree in 2018, good news! There’s no need to wait until September! We have a range of courses to get you started sooner than you thought:

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) courses for those starting the first year of their degree-level study.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) courses for those who have completed their first year of degree level study and wish to take on the second year.
  • Foundation Degree (FdA) courses for those wanting to start a course that will cover the first and second year of their degree-level study.

Learn something new with a Part-time course

If you’re looking to learn a new skill or obtain a new qualification, but cannot commit to full-time study, we offer a range of exciting Part-time courses that start in January and February 2018! With both day and evening courses available, we can help you fit education into your existing schedule.

If money is a concern for you, we can offer support in that area too. We firmly believe that finance shouldn’t be a barrier to education, so we offer options such as our 19+ Advanced Learner Loan. You can find out more about this below.

You can view our Part-time course guide online. You can also apply below.

With an Advanced Learner Loan, you don’t have to pay anything for your course fees.

If your loan application is successful, the loan amount will be paid directly to the College on your behalf.

To qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan, you’ll need to be:

  • Aged 19 or over at the start of your course
  • A resident in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of your course
  • Enrolling on a course at Level 3 or above

What’s more, you don’t start repaying the loan until you’ve completed your course and are earning more than £21,000 a year!

To find out more about financial support, email Student Services, call 01582 569569 or drop in!

If you have any questions about courses, admissions, finance or anything else, email Student Services at admissions@barnfield.ac.uk, call 01582 569 569 or drop in and see us at either campus.
