Stephen Terry, finalist of the Great British Menu and Chef / Owner of the The Hardwick gastro pub in Abergavenny, graduated from Barnfield College in 1986. He has 2 Michelin stars to his credit.
He says of Barnfield: "I had really happy days there, I wouldn't change it for the world.
I was fortunate enough to be taught by a man called Paul Ward who was a senior lecturer there at the time. If it wasn't for Paul Ward, I probably wouldn't be where I am today.
Looking back he was an amazing catalyst to my career."
Adam Simmonds, Chef de Cuisine at the Oak Room, Danesfield House Hotel and Spa at Marlow-on- Thames, Buckinghamshire, was awarded four Red Rosettes by the AA Restaurant Guide 2009.
