If you choose to following a General Engineering path, you’ll be studying in our professional machine shop with access to a wide range of technical equipment and software, covering a mix of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering. To meet industry demands, the UK needs double the number of engineering graduates, so we’ll make sure you’re well prepared for higher education. But you could also find employment in a range of specialist fields, such as aerospace, medical equipment or telecommunications.
Our Electrical Installation pathway will allow you to either study full-time, or learn on-the-job as an apprentice. Either way, alongside all the necessary theory and regulations, you’ll spend a significant amount of time in the practical workshop learning the hands-on skills you’ll need for roles across the industry. But we’ll also help you develop the right attitude to work and transferable skills to be a valuable employee. After the course, you’ll be ready to follow in the footsteps of our previous students, who have gone on to roles including domestic building, commercial fit-out and industrial applications.
