A minimum of Entry 3 or some GCSEs at grade 2 plus the ability to achieve Level 1 English and maths.

This qualification will prepare you for further study at Level 2 or alternative specialism at Level 1. You can also enter employment or apprenticeship at Junior level.
Additional Information
All students will be required to purchase a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit and safety boots. The PPE kit will need to be purchased via the College for £40. Safety boots cost approximately £25 and can be purchased externally or via the College.
This course is suitable for beginners who want to get into Plumbing industry. Along with your Plumbing studies and depending on GCSE grades on entry, the study programme will include GCSE or Functional Skills in English and maths, and give opportunity to gain some work experience in Plumbing. You will learn:
Installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems
Above ground drainage
Pipework (copper, plastic, low carbon steel)
Plumbing science.
Structure of the construction industry,
Site preparation in the construction industry.
Environmental and sustainability measures in domestic dwellings
