An Apprenticeship is a great alternative to full-time study. Combining practical training in a real job with study towards a nationally recognised qualification, you can earn while you learn!

If you want a stepping stone into a career or a route into university, as an apprentice at Barnfield College, you’ll get all the benefits of studying with us whilst working with an employer in an industry of your choice.

Apprenticeships are open to anyone 16 or above, living in the UK, not in full-time education and employed.

What qualifications do I need?

Employers expect you to have GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English and maths, and/or A Levels. Some employers may accept lower grades providing you can demonstrate the ability to work at that level.
